Powder Rush · last updated 26 October 2026
Powder Rush collects nothing about you. There are no accounts, no ads, no tracking and no analytics. The game does not send anything about you or how you play to anyone, including us.
Who makes the game
Powder Rush is made by Andrew Kelly (One Thumb Games), who is responsible for this policy. Questions about privacy: development@powderrushgame.com.
What stays on your device
To remember your progress, the game saves these on your own phone, tablet or computer, and nowhere else:
- your best scores and distances, and your daily challenge stars and streak;
- your snowflakes (❄), the skier kit you have bought, and what your skier is wearing;
- your settings: sound, vibration, day or night, and the last mountain code you typed.
In the iPhone and iPad app, the same things are also kept in the app's own storage on your device, so an update never loses your progress. They still never leave your device.
You can erase all of your progress at any time with Settings → Reset progress. Deleting the game, or clearing your browser's website data, also erases it.
Your location (only if you ask, and only on the website)
Day or night in the game follows the real sun. Normally the game guesses where you are from your device's time zone, which needs no permission. The iPhone and iPad app only ever uses the time zone and never asks for your location. If you tap Match your sun exactly: use my location, your device asks your permission, and the game rounds your position to about a kilometre and keeps it on your device, only to work out sunrise and sunset. It is never sent anywhere.
Sharing
The Share button hands a short message (the date, the day's challenge, your stars and streak) to your device's own share menu, or copies it. Nothing is sent unless you choose where to send it.
This website
The website, powderrushgame.com, is a plain set of pages with no cookies, no analytics, no ads and no sign-in. It is hosted by GitHub (GitHub Pages). Like any web host, GitHub receives your device's internet address (IP address) when it sends you a page, and may keep it for a short time for security and to keep the service running, under GitHub's privacy statement. We never see or receive it. Playing the game in your browser saves your progress in your browser only, as described above.
Children
The game is suitable for all ages. Because it collects nothing, it collects nothing from children either. If you believe a child has sent us personal information (for example in an email), contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this ever changes, this page will be updated first, with a new date at the top.
